ICE-EM Subsidies
for AMSI Students
A number of subsidies for
travel and
accommodation (including breakfast and
dinner) will be available for AMSI student
applicants. All students who will be (or expect
to be) enrolled at honours or postgraduate level
at an
AMSI
member institution in Semester 1, 2006, are
encouraged to apply.
Self-funded Participants
Staff members and non-AMSI graduate students are
encouraged to seek funding from their home
institutions.
Accommodation bookings for all participants
can be handled by the local organising
committee. The
Registration Form
can also be
used for participants funding their own
accommodation.
Course Selection
Please refer to the
Courses page for detailed information about
the subjects being offered (this is currently
being updated). In your Application/Registration
Form you
will be asked to rank your choices in order of
preference, giving at least 2 back-up choices.
You need to select a combination of:
2 four-week courses; 1 four-week course and a
pair of two-week courses; or 2 pairs of two-week
courses. You may choose more courses, but the
recommended number is the equivalent of 2 four-week courses. Please rank your choices in order
of preference and indicate whether you plan to
take assessment. You may select one component of
the paired courses, but this cannot be assessed.
Endorsement
Student applicants will need to have their
application endorsed by an academic sponsor (eg
Supervisor, Head of Department, Honours or
Postgraduate Program Coordinator). They will be
asked to verify your details and consider your
selection of courses for suitability.
