Students from
AMSI member institutions are eligible for Travel
and Accommodation Subsidies upon application.
The Accommodation has been booked and only
requires you to indicate whether you will be
staying at
University College (University of Melbourne)
or not on the
Application/Registration
Form. If you qualify for
a subsidy, your accommodation will be paid for
you, including breakfast and dinner each day.
If you do not qualify, you will need to pay RMIT
on arrival. The rate is $48.00 per night.
You are required to make your own travel
arrangements. Again, if you are an AMSI
student and live outside the Melbourne
metropolitan area, you are eligible to apply for
a Travel Subsidy. To claim the subsidy,
you must present original documents (ticket or
receipt) upon arrival at RMIT.
You will then be reimbursed for
your airplane, train or bus travel to and from
Melbourne, to the maximum as indicated below.
If you drive, you will be eligible for petrol
reimbursement.
Travel subsidies will cover the cost of flights
to and from Melbourne up to a maximum value of:
