On this map click
on the 'Easting' , then move the map horizontally to the required
position by lining up the red lines with the correct numerical
position. Then click the button again to record the position.
Click 'Northing' and do the same. A yellow square will appear.

You can now move the
map to find a particular location. Line the feature up with the
centre of the red lines. Then click 'Easting' to find this grid
reference. Click 'Northing' and you will find this reference number
as indicated by the position of the red lines. Click the yellow
square to return to your position on the map.
